Stir-Fried Pepper Salad

Ingredients
- 3 tbsps. Crisco® Pure Canola Oil
- OR Crisco® Pure Vegetable Oil
- 3 peppers (green, red, yellow, orange or a combination)
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tbsps. chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tbsps. white wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
Directions
- Step 1
HEAT oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add peppers and garlic. Cook and stir 6 minutes, or until peppers are cooked.
- Step 2
ADD parsley, vinegar, sugar and seasoning to pan. Stir well. Remove pan from heat. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cool to room temperature or chill before serving.
- Step 3
The salad can be made up to two days in advance and refrigerated, tightly covered with plastic wrap.
