Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fresh whole mushrooms
  • 1 onion
  • MARINADE
  • 1 cup Crisco® Pure Vegetable Oil
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. fennel seed
  • 1 tsp. dried basil leaves
  • 1/2 tsp. instant minced garlic
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions

  • Step 1

    COMBINE mushrooms and onion in medium bowl. Set aside.

  • Step 2

    BLEND marinade ingredients in small bowl. Pour over mushrooms and onions. Cover; refrigerate 6 to 8 hours, stirring occasionally. Remove mushrooms and onions with slotted spoon before serving.
