Ingredients

  • 1 (5 oz.) can boned chicken, chopped or 1/2 cup chopped cooked chicken
  • 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms, drained and finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1 tsp. soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. curry powder
  • 7 egg roll wrappers
  • Crisco® Pure Vegetable Oil
  • Sweet and sour sauce

Directions

  • Step 1

    COMBINE chopped chicken and mushrooms, celery, soy sauce and curry powder.

  • Step 2

    LAY one egg roll wrapper flat on clean surface. Place about 2 tablespoons filling onto center of wrapper. Fold in corners and then ends. Roll up, moistening the underside with water to seal. Repeat with remaining wrappers.

  • Step 3

    HEAT oil in deep-sided saucepan to 365ºF. Gently place rolls into oil. Fry 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve with sweet and sour sauce.
