Ingredients

  • 3 tbsps. Crisco® Butter Flavor All-Vegetable Shortening
  • 3 tbsps. Crisco® Baking Sticks Butter Flavor All-Vegetable Shortening
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 3 cups coarsely shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 tsp. fennel seed
  • 2 cups uncooked egg noodles
  • 2 tbsps. chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper

Directions

  • Step 1

    MELT shortening in large skillet over medium heat. Add onion, cabbage and fennel seed. Cook and stir over medium heat until tender.

  • Step 2

    PLACE in medium serving bowl. Add noodles and parsley. Season with salt and pepper. Toss well.
