Preparation Directions


PREPARE recipe for Double-Crust Deep-Dish Classic Crisco Pie Crust. Divide in half. Shape into 2 (1/2-inch thick) disks. Wrap in plastic wrap. Chill at least 30 minutes.


COOK bacon in large skillet over medium-high heat 15 minutes or until crisp. Remove bacon from skillet with slotted spoon. Drain all but 1 tablespoon bacon drippings from skillet. Add green onions and pepper to drippings. Cook over medium heat 3 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat.


HEAT oven to 425°F. Roll out one portion of dough into a 14-inch circle on floured surface. Cut out 6 (4-inch) circles. Repeat with remaining dough to make 6 additional circles. Line bottom and sides of 12 muffin cups with dough circles by gently pressing dough into cups.


TOSS bacon, green onions and cheese in medium bowl until blended. Divide evenly into crusts in muffin cups.


WHISK eggs, half-and-half and mustard in medium bowl until blended. Pour over bacon mixture, dividing evenly. Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 2 minutes. Loosen edges with sharp knife. Remove from pan.
