Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup reduced sodium chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 tsps. reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. cornstarch
  • Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 2/3 cup celery, sliced
  • 1 cup red pepper, cut into 1-inch squares
  • 1/4 lb. fresh snow peas
  • 2 tsps. gingerroot, minced
  • 1 tbsp. garlic, minced
  • 20 jumbo raw shrimp with tails, shelled and deveined
  • Dried chiles, to taste
  • 1 1/2 tsps. dark sesame oil, or to taste
  • 4 cups hot cooked rice

Directions

  • Step 1

    BLEND chicken broth, soy sauce and cornstarch in a small bowl; set aside. Generously coat bottom of large skillet or wok with no-stick cooking spray.

  • Step 2

    HEAT skillet or wok over medium heat. Add celery, red pepper and snow peas. Stir fry 1 minute. Add gingerroot and garlic. Stir fry 15 seconds. Add chicken broth; bring to boil. Reduce to a simmer.

  • Step 3

    ADD shrimp and chili peppers. Cook until shrimp is opaque and sauce is thickened. Remove from heat, add sesame oil, stir and serve immediately over hot cooked rice.
