Quick and Easy Salmon Burgers

Ingredients
- 1 (15 to 16 oz.) can pink salmon
- 1 large egg
- 1/3 cup minced onion
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsps. baking powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 cups Crisco® Pure Vegetable Oil
- Tartar sauce, Tomato Slices, Lettuce
- 6 sandwich buns
Directions
- Step 1
DRAIN salmon, reserving 2 tablespoons liquid. Combine salmon, egg and onion in medium bowl. Stir in flour. Combine baking powder with reserved liquid. Stir into salmon mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
- Step 2
FORM into 6 patties. Heat oil in shallow skillet. Fry patties about 5 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with tartar sauce, tomato slice and lettuce on sandwich bun.
