Quick and Easy Beef Stroganoff with Poppy Seed Noodles

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsps. Crisco® Pure Vegetable Oil
  • 1 lb. beef sirloin
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tbsps. ketchup
  • 2 tbsps. Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper
  • POPPY SEED NOODLES
  • 4 cups hot cooked noodles
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. poppy seeds
  • Fresh parsley

Directions

  • Step 1

    HEAT oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Add sirloin strips, onion and garlic. Cook until onion is crisp tender, about 6 minutes.

  • Step 2

    COMBINE soup, sour cream, mushrooms with liquid, ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over meat mixture. Cook and stir over low heat until hot and bubbly, about 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

  • Step 3

    TOSS hot cooked noodles with butter and poppy seeds. Spoon meat mixture over noodles. Garnish with minced parsley. Serve immediately.
