Ingredients

  • 2 tbsps. Crisco® Pure Vegetable Oil
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves or 8 boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 (2.8 oz.) can French-fried onions
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 cup unseasoned panko bread crumbs
  • 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray

Directions

  • Step 1

    HEAT oven to 350°F. Spread oil in bottom of 13 x 9-inch baking pan if using chicken breasts or 15 x 10-inch baking pan if using chicken thighs.

  • Step 2

    PLACE onions in large resealable plastic bag. Roll rolling pin over bag to crush to fine crumbs. Add cheese, bread crumbs and seasoned salt to bag. Seal and shake bag to mix. Whisk eggs in shallow bowl.

  • Step 3

    DIP chicken in egg and then in crumb mixture to coat. Place chicken in prepared pan. Coat generously with no-stick cooking spray.

  • Step 4

    BAKE 20 minutes. Turn chicken pieces. Bake an additional 15 to 20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
