Italian Pork Cutlets

Ingredients
- 1 tsp. Crisco® Pure Vegetable Oil
- 6 (4 oz.) lean, boneless center-cut pork loin slices
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- 1 1/2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 small green bell pepper
- 1/2 cup sliced green onion with tops
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Hot cooked rice for 6 servings
Directions
- Step 1
HEAT oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add pork. Brown on both sides. Add tomato sauce, garlic, mushrooms, pepper, onions, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Reduce heat to low.
- Step 2
COVER; simmer 30 minutes or until meat is tender. Remove cover. Cook and stir until slightly thickened.
- Step 3
SPRINKLE cheese over meat mixture. Cover. Heat until cheese melts. Serve with rice.
