Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup Crisco® Pure Canola Oil
  • Crisco® Pure Vegetable Oil
  • 2 tbsps. lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. ground oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne
  • 2 1/2 to 3 lbs. broiler-fryer chicken
  • Salt and pepper

Directions

  • Step 1

    HEAT grill. Combine ketchup, 1/4 cup oil, lemon juice, chili powder, lemon pepper seasoning, oregano and cayenne in small bowl. Mix well. Set aside.

  • Step 2

    BRUSH chicken pieces lightly with oil. Season with salt and pepper. Grill, turning over frequently, or until internal temperature reaches 180°F. Brush with sauce during last 10 minutes of cooking time.
