Ingredients

  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. pork sausage links
  • Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 4 cups frozen shredded hash browns
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. pepper
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded American cheese

Directions

  • Step 1

    COOK sausage according to package directions.

  • Step 2

    COAT bottom of 10-inch skillet with no-stick cooking spray. Lay onions and green pepper, if desired, evenly on bottom of skillet. Top with hash browns, patting to flatten. Sprinkle evenly with 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. pepper.

  • Step 3

    COOK over low heat 12 to 15 minutes or until underside is crisp and lightly browned.

  • Step 4

    WHISK together eggs, milk, 1/4 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Pour evenly over potatoes. Arrange cooked sausage links in a spoke-like pattern in eggs. Cover and cook 8 minutes or just until eggs are set.

  • Step 5

    SPRINKLE cheese evenly over top. Cover. Cook just until cheese melts. Serve immediately.
