Baked Eggs and Bacon in Toast Cups

The toast cups are super-simple; just trim bread slices, spray with Crisco No Stick Cooking Spray and press into muffin cups. You and your guests will love them!

Ingredients

  • Crisco® Butter Flavor No-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 6 slices white bread
  • 6 large eggs
  • Salt and pepper
  • 3 slices bacon
  • 1/2 cup (2 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
  • Chopped chives or parsley for garnish

Directions

  • Step 1

    HEAT oven to 350ºF.

  • Step 2

    SPRAY 6 muffin cups and both sides of trimmed bread slices lightly with no-stick cooking spray. Press one slice into each cup so that corners are over edges of cup. Bake 5 to 6 minutes, or until lightly toasted. Remove from oven.

  • Step 3

    BREAK one egg into each cup. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle eggs with bacon and cheese. Bake 15 to 20 minutes, or until eggs are set. Garnish with chives; serve.
