Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Crisco® Pure Vegetable Oil
  • 2 tbsps. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsps. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 cups cashews
  • 2 cups pecans

Directions

  • Step 1

    HEAT oven to 300°F.

  • Step 2

    WHISK together oil, sugar, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne, garlic salt, cinnamon and salt in medium bowl. Stir in cashews and pecans. Toss to coat. Spread evenly in 13x9-inch pan.

  • Step 3

    BAKE 20 to 25 minutes, stirring once or twice. Place pan on rack to cool, stirring occaionally.

  • Step 4

    For a “hotter” nut mix, add 4 or more drops cayenne pepper sauce to recipe.
