Ingredients

  • 6 medium tomatillos, husks removed and quartered
  • 3/4 cup coarsely chopped onion
  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled, pit removed
  • 1/4 cup loosely packed fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1 medium jalapeno pepper, seeded and coarsely chopped
  • 2 tbsps. Crisco® Pure Canola Oil
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 clove garlic clove, peeled

Directions

  • Step 1

    COMBINE tomatillos, onion, avocado, cilantro, jalapeno, oil, salt and garlic in food processor.

  • Step 2

    COVER and process until smooth. Serve with grilled meats, grilled seafood or snack chips.
