Cheesy Onion Crostini

Ingredients
- Crisco® Butter Flavor No-Stick Cooking Spray
- 2 loaves French baguettes, sliced 1/2-inch thick
- 1 cup finely shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp. minced onion
- 1 tbsp. minced Italian flat leaf parsley
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
Directions
- Step 1
HEAT oven to 400°F. Spray baking sheets with no-stick cooking spray.
- Step 2
SPRAY baguette slices generously with no-stick cooking spray. Place on prepared baking sheet. Brown bread slices until tops are crisp and golden, 3 to 4 minutes. Cool slightly.
- Step 3
COMBINE Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, onion, parsley and cayenne pepper in small bowl. Top each toasted bread slice (crostini) with a rounded 1/2 teaspoon cheese mixture, spreading to the edge with a small spatula or knife. Return to oven. Bake until topping is puffed and golden, about 6 minutes. Serve warm.
