Ingredients

  • Crisco® Butter Flavor No-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 12 slices white bread
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. fresh thyme
  • 1 tsp. freshly chopped rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp. cracked black pepper
  • 4 cups romaine lettuce, finely sliced into 1/8 inch strips
  • 2 green onions
  • Caesar Salad dressing, to taste
  • Shredded Parmesan cheese

Directions

  • Step 1

    HEAT oven to 350ºF. Spray 12 muffin cups with no-stick cooking spray.

  • Step 2

    TRIM crusts off bread; spray both sides of bread with no-stick cooking spray.

  • Step 3

    COMBINE garlic powder, thyme, rosemary and pepper in small bowl. Lightly sprinkle mixture over both sides of bread.

  • Step 4

    FLATTEN bread slightly with rolling pin to embed spice mixture. Press each slice into a muffin cup, allowing edges to hang over cup.

  • Step 5

    BAKE 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown and crisp. Remove from oven; cool. Remove from pan to serving plates. Toss lettuce and green onions with dressing in large bowl. Spoon salad into Crouton Cups. Garnish with shredded Parmesan and green onion slices. Serve immediately.
