Cake Decorating Frosting
- 1 cup Crisco® All-Vegetable Shortening
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon clear vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon meringue powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 5 to 6 tablespoons water
BEAT together shortening, powdered sugar, vanilla, meringue powder and salt until combined and smooth. Add water until desired consistency.
2 tablespoons corn starch can be substituted for the meringue powder.
