Grilled Potato Slices

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 large Idaho or russet potatoes
  • 1/4 cup Crisco® Pure Canola Oil
  • OR 1/4 cup Crisco® Pure Vegetable Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

PREPARATION DIRECTIONS:

    PREPARE charcoal or gas grill.

    SCRUB potatoes under cold running water. Cut into 3/4-inch slices. Cover with salted cold water in large pot. Bring to a boil over high heat.

    BOIL 6 minutes. Drain.

    BRUSH potato slices with oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Grill slices 3 minutes. Turn with tongs; grill second side 3 minutes, or until brown. Serve immediately.
