Grilled Potato Slices
INGREDIENTS:
- 3 large Idaho or russet potatoes
- 1/4 cup Crisco® Pure Canola Oil
- OR 1/4 cup Crisco® Pure Vegetable Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
PREPARATION DIRECTIONS:
1. PREPARE charcoal or gas grill.
2. SCRUB potatoes under cold running water. Cut into 3/4-inch slices. Cover with salted cold water in large pot. Bring to a boil over high heat.
3. BOIL 6 minutes. Drain.
4. BRUSH potato slices with oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Grill slices 3 minutes. Turn with tongs; grill second side 3 minutes, or until brown. Serve immediately.
