Fruit and Nut Bars

 2 to 3 dozen bars

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cups Pillsbury BEST® All Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup Crisco® Pure Vegetable Oil
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 (27-ounce) jarNone Such® Ready to Use Mincemeat
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

PREPARATION DIRECTIONS:

  1. 1.
    HEAT oven to 400°F. In large bowl, combine dry ingredients. Add oil and milk, stirring until mixture is a moist crumble.

    RESERVING 1 cup crumb mixture, press remainder firmly on bottom of 13x9-inch baking pan; top with mincemeat. Top evenly with remaining crumb mixture, then nuts,

    BAKE 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool. Chill if desired. Cut into bars. Store, loosely covered, at room temperature.
