Maple Glazed Ribs
INGREDIENTS:
- 1/4 cup Crisco® Pure Vegetable Oil
- 1 large onion, cut into 1/4-inch slices, separated into rings
- 2 1/2 to 3 pounds country-style pork ribs, trimmed of fat, cut into 3-inch pieces
- 1/3 cup Hungry Jack® Microwave Ready Regular Syrup
- 1/4 cup spicy brown mustard or country-style Dijon mustard
PREPARATION DIRECTIONS:
1. HEAT oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add onions. Cook until golden, about 4 minutes. Add ribs to skillet and brown on all sides, about 8 minutes. Add ribs and onions to slow cooker.
2. COMBINE syrup and mustard in small bowl, mix well. Spread evenly onto ribs.
3. COVER. Cook on LOW setting for at least 8 hours. If desired, serve with additional mustard.
