Hash Brown Potatoes
INGREDIENTS:
- 3 tablespoons Crisco® Pure Canola Oil
- 4 medium baking potatoes, peeled, shredded, rinsed and patted dry
- 2 tablespoons grated onion
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
PREPARATION DIRECTIONS:
1. HEAT oil in large heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Combine potatoes, onion, salt, garlic powder and pepper in medium bowl. Mix well. Press potato mixture into hot pan. Cook 6 to 7 minutes; turn and cook an additional 6 to 7 minutes or until golden brown and tender.
