Posts 2 		Can Butter flavored shortening be used to make pie crust with, or will it completely change the flavor and texture? I have always been afraid to make pie crusts, so I need all of the help I can get! I'm pretty good at fried chicken and homemade noodles, but can't master the pie crust.

Crisco Butter Flavor Shortening can be used to make Pie Crust. It provided the same texture but adds a hint of butter flavor. Your pie crust will be a beautiful golden brown color.

Remember when making your pie crust to use cold Crisco Shortening. You might want to check out the Crisco Classic Pie Crust video. You can access it by clicking on the recipe tab at the top of the screen. You can then choose the recipe you would like to see prepared.
