I was wondering why when I fried my chicken in this rendered oil did I have such fumes in my house that half an hour later my eyes are still watering up. I never exceeded 400 degrees and cooked in 350 degree melted crisco. The chicken browned up fantastic and tasted great. I am really happy with the results but am wondering why my eyes are burning and watering. I am a professional cook so I dont think I did anything wrong,. Has anyone else had this problem, Does the product go bad after a while?
