To test if your Crisco Oil has heated to 375º F, drop a small cube of bread into the pan. If it is surrounded by a ring of bubbles and turns brown in 25 to 30 seconds, the oil has reached the right temperature.

It's important to not crowd the pan with too much food when frying, or the food will steam rather than get crispy and brown.

If you put cold Crisco Oil in a hot pan, the food won't stick.

Before cooking noodles, be sure to rub the inside of the pot with Crisco Oil. It will make the pan easy to clean.

Spraying your spatula with Crisco No-Stick Cooking Spray will keep egg dishes from sticking.

Rub your knife with Crisco Oil and it will be easier to chop ingredients like nuts or dried fruit since they will not stick to the blade.
