Keep Your Cool
To get that flaky, tasty pie crust, be sure to use cold ingredients. Using ice water and cold (even frozen) Crisco® Shortening is important.
Peek On Your Pie
About halfway through baking, check on the pie—you might need to cover it with foil to prevent over-browning.
Pack It In
For best results, pack Crisco® All-Vegetable Shortening into your measuring cup, level with a spatula, and remove with a rubber scraper.
